The company was founded with 51% ownership in 1993 and became 100% minority owned in May of 1995. Lewis S. Scott, President and Chief Executive Officer
Before becoming the president of Simon Marketing, Inc., Mr. Scott was with the Xerox Corporation, in a number of senior sales, marketing and service management positions spanning over fifteen years. Prior to Xerox, he was a Project Manager with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, an Executive level manager within the Chairman's Office of The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and a senior level personnel manager with the Weyerhaeuser Company.
Mr. Scott received a BS Degree in 1968 and his MA degree in Business in 1970 from Oregon State University. In 1975, he attended Stanford University as a Sloan Fellow. A former Denver Bronco, he is a member of the National Football League Player's Association.
Morgan A. Scott, VP of Marketing & Sales
Mr. Scott received his BS Degree in Marketing/Sales from The University of Tampa in 1998 and started his career path as an intern with the Xerox Corporation. At Xerox he assisted with Market Research. Over the years Mr. Scott has held sales positions as a product specialist for a top Pharmaceutical company, Marketing/Research for a privately held holding company of intellectual property, and Property Manager of commercial/industrial real estate for another privately held company.
Dawn Adams, Marketing Manager
Ms. Adams has worked in the office products industry since 1995 when she joined the Labelon Corporation. At Labelon, she worked as a Marketing Assistant responsible for preparation of all catalog and presentation materials, printed product sample design and customer information publications. Later, as a Product/Marketing Manager, she continued these activities as well as assuming responsibility for three product lines and two product brands.
Prior to her tenure at Labelon, she held marketing positions in the electronics and publishing fields. In 2000 she moved to Simon and along with product management, is responsible for all catalog preparation, product pricing, packaging design coordination and product & packaging sourcing. She is also responsible for the design of Product Show fliers specifically designed for individual customers.
Freda Esunis, Comptroller
Freda Esunis, has over 40 years of accounting experience in the Fastener and Construction Industry. Freda moved to Simon Marketing Inc, in June of 2006. She is responsible for reporting financial information to the President.
Michele Brazzell, Financial Analyst
Ms. Brazzell received her BS in accounting from Georgia State University in 1982 and became a certified public accountant in 1985. She worked as an auditor for Ernst and Young and performed audits of both publicly and privately held companies. In 1985, she joined The Coca-Cola Corporation and held various accounting positions over a 10 year period in the Corporate and USA divisions of the company.
Prior to coming on board with Simon Marketing in April of 2007, Ms. Brazzell worked with several small businesses in the areas of initial accounting system setup, financial reporting and budgeting. |
